Egyptian Wooden Sarcophagus Panel, circa Late Dynastic Period 1070_332BC. Brightly painted panel and complete in itself with wear. Male figure with arms spread above standing figure of Isis with arms at side with 5 panels of hieroglyphic text from the book of the dead. Excellent condition overall. Length 53¼", width 11". Impressively mounted on a custom red felt mount to an overall size of 64" x 16½". From the personal collection of Dr.Jerry Buss former owner of the Lakers basket ball team.
